For young Indians under the age of 25, we offer opportunities for high impact volunteering as well as leadership training.
The volunteers work in teams only.
We partner with progressive non-profit organisations to create local social service programs that are meaningful and with clear deliverables.
Our Full-Time Service Programs (Such as Summer Serve 2008)
Here, from Monday to Thursday, the volunteers work full-time on their projects and on Fridays, the entire group gathers for trainings, workshops and discussions that further their leadership skills and knowledge of the social sector. Workshops include skills building for organising resources, presentations and public speaking skills. We invite prominent guest speakers from the corporate and development sectors to offer their insights and suggest advocacy tools.
Our Part-Time Service Programs (Such as Winter Serve 2009)
This is a campaign-based program where our volunteers spend three action-oriented weeks on the field, working on a specific social issue. For this program particularly, we cater to a diverse background of volunteers from all sections of society. To make the program more inclusive we open it to young people with disabilities, young people from disadvantaged backgrounds and young people from privileged backgrounds. The concentrated structure of the program based on public outreach, creates high social impact.
